My name is Carrie and I'm an illustrator based in Hong Kong. I enjoy drawing beautiful things and scenes, from various poses of girls to lightly vintage-style settings and objects, seeking a balance between the everyday and the dreamlike. I primarily use watercolour and colour pencils, and sometimes add a bit of gouache, favouring soft hues with low saturation. My education background is in Animation, which is an interesting and challenging subject that includes elements like art direction, character design, colour scheme and camera angles. These all translate into my work in illustration, and I've found that I enjoy illustration because it allows me to share my personal aesthetics.
